Sawyer is a beautiful, soft rug with colors that merge into each other exactly the way some antique 19th century rugs do. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, but you can’t really force these things. Most of the rabbits I make are hunkered down in the grass, but occasionally one sits up tall. The border of two blues is a good contrast to the softness of the image itself. The binding is a light blue flowered cotton and it measures 15” high by 8.5” wide.
