Ethel is a sweet cat whose little white paws seem to be perching on her long tail. All the wool used in this rug are hand dyed. The blue of the background changes from grey blue to a slightly lighter bluer blue. Her fur is a dyed tweed that works perfectly. The pink and red flowers seem to be bird-like, floating in the sky. As is almost always the case, the outer edges are irregular, giving the rug even more energy. The back binding is a deep pink fabric with a delicate black floral design. The rug measures 15” high by 10” wide and comes with a muslin sleeve and dowel for display on the wall.
