Snowy Santa stands patiently in the snow, as the day moves toward twilight. He carries a brown bag (full of toys) and his coat is edged at the bottom with red. A small tree with an even smaller yellow star is next to him. The rug is edged my favorite red and black buffalo plaid wool. Many of the colors in this rug are hand dyed. It measures 14” high by 10” wide. The back is a totally exciting cotton binding of red and cream swirls. It is equipped with a sleeve and wooden dowel to display it on the wall. A family treasure waiting to be brought out during the holidays. This lovely rug would be a beautiful pair with Angel with a Pink Dress, as they are the same size and really related through the softness of the colors.
