Red Star is a square geometric rug made mostly of hand dyed wools — the reds, dark plaid and pink and grey in the hit or miss border are all hand dyed, as are the light blues of the defining outlines. The eight-pointed star makes this perfect for the holidays, but I can see it as a soft pad on a chair, or, of course, on a special place on the wall. It measures 12” high by 13” wide, and has a beautifully irregular shape. It’s a happy rug and I had fun making it.
