Red flannel-type wool, buffalo plaid, is one of my very favorite wools. I bought my current stash at a mill in Vermont when I was on a residency. This rug has a background made with several close tweeds, and three bright hearts, spiced up with bright pink. It’s 10.5” square and has a bright yellow polka dot binding on the back. It will be fitted with a muslin sleeve and a dowel for hanging it on the wall. My rugs can be placed around the house — on the wall, on a door, on a table, on a bed — anywhere you want some cheer.
